AutoCAD Detailer / Project Coordinator

Swirnow Building Systems has been providing innovative architectural and structural products to the design and building communities for more than 40 years. – The company is now looking to add an experienced Architectural / Structural Detailer.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will have proven skills in commercial construction industry and able to become an expert in rainscreen cladding technologies and structural floors.

Qualified candidates will produce detailed shop drawings, complete the submittal process and produce final installation drawings along with manufacturing bill of materials.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing clear and accurate shop drawings, floor plans, elevations and sections for architectural rainscreen facades and steel joists according to architectural and structural plans and specifications.
  • Performing material detailing and creating shop order documents.
  • Project coordination.
  • Monitor projects and report progress and status to management.
  • Document control including R.F.I. logs, submittals and contract conformance.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Have the communication skills to interact effectively with project managers, architects, engineers and other team members.
  • Ability to interact and problem solve with field personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Be proficient with AutoCAD, Word and Excel
  • Must be able to accurately interpret construction documents, architectural, structural drawings and specifications.
  • Be able to work well in a team environment as well as work independently
  • Minimum 3 years in architectural/structural drafting, design and/or engineering
  • Estimating experience and/or field experience is a plus.
  • Be self-motivated, self-directed, and eager/willing to learn and grow.
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Ability to work on multiple projects of varying scope with the capability of achieving tight schedules/deadlines

Estimator

Position Summary:

Qualified candidates will prepare material estimates and pricing for our NeaCera Terracotta Cladding and structural steel Hambro Composite Floor System.

The successful candidate will have proven skills in the commercial construction industry and a minimum of 3 years experience in estimating.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing clear and accurate quantity take offs using architectural and structural floor plans, elevations, sections and project specifications.
  • Conceptual Design – Develop structural framing plans from preliminary architectural and structural plans.
  • Sales support. Work with sales reps to gain project information required for accurate estimates.
  • Product Design to assist consulting architects, engineers and builders etc,
  • Prepare Schedules of Values
  • Assist with product development

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to accurately interpret, architectural, structural drawings, construction documents and specifications.
  • Must be proficient MS Excel and Bluebeam software.
  • Be able to work successfully both independently and within a team environment.

Position Summary:

The role of the Regional Sales Specialist is to provide the very best in customer service to our target audience and execute sales and marketing plans, programs and projects; while promoting NeaCera® Terra-cotta Cladding Solutions in the commercial building market space.  The successful candidate must be a strong communicator (both oral and written), persuasive in nature, be aggressive, organized, focused on growing market share, and posses the ability to sell, market and perform outstanding customer service.

In this role the Regional Sales Specialist will actively interact and engage the customer by communicating the product attributes, features, and benefits, and increase product sales to Architects and Installers via a business model that leverages and builds upon Avenere Cladding’s industry-leading and comprehensive digital platforms.

Regional Sales Professional in Pennsylvania/New Jersey

AboSwirnow Building Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Professional in Pennsylvania/New Jersey. We are seeking results-oriented sales professionals who are well versed in the construction industry. The candidate will sell Hambro® Composite Floor System and NeaCera® Terra-cotta rainscreen solutions. The ideal candidate will build on existing relationships with Architects, Engineers, Builders, Installers and Developers, as well as establish new relationships. The position covers all aspects of selling, including: prospecting, warm calling, business development and sales calls. The candidate will participate in customer service, proposal preparation, sales presentations, and closing business. Candidates are expected to identify sales opportunities, pursue leads, schedule follow ups and close sales.

Required Skills

To be considered for the position, the candidate must possess the required skill sets.

  • Bachelors Degree from a 4-year University.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in consultative sales of architectural or structural products.
  • Proven track record of serving as a product expert and supporting designers and specifiers in their preparation of plans and specifications.
  • Proven track record in construction industry sales and closing business.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural plans and details.
