We are seeking a Regional Sales Associate to aggressively expand our sales foot-print and grow market share of our NeaCera® branded exterior cladding product line under our Avenere Cladding division.

Position Summary:

The Regional Sales Associate role is as an individual contributor tasked with providing the very best in customer service to our target audience, the Architect/Designer, General Contractor, and the Installer/Sub-contractor. Additionally, they are responsible for executing sales and marketing plans, programs and projects, while promoting NeaCera Terra-cotta Cladding Solutions in the commercial building market space.

The Regional Sales Associate will actively interact and engage the customer by communicating the product attributes, features, and benefits, and increase product sales to Architects and Installers via a business model that leverages and builds upon Avenere Cladding’s industry-leading and comprehensive digital platforms.

To further his/her position with the client base, the Regional Sales Associate will need to develop into a trusted advisor by:

  1. Treating the customer as the “Lead Actor” and him/herself as “Supporting Actor”.
  2. Having a working knowledge of other like-category cladding products such as fiber-cement, vinyl siding, brick, etc., in order to function as a valued resource.
  3. Understand the customer’s business better than your competitors do.
  4. Continuously learn about and get familiar with new products, methods, services offered in the market place.
  5. Seek to understand more about the immediate customer contact and their organization as a whole. Develop a list of “Who’s Who In The Zoo”.
  6. Utilizing the SBS in-house Studio to it’s fullest potential during webinars, panel discussions, product orientations, and more.

The position can be either remote or based in our Baltimore, Maryland offices.*

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in sales
    • Experience with architectural or engineered building systems is a plus

Job Description

The successful candidate will have proven skills in the commercial construction industry and be able to become an expert in structural floors and rainscreen cladding technologies.

Qualified candidates will produce detailed shop drawings, complete the submittal process and produce final installation drawings along with manufacturing bill of materials.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing clear and accurate shop drawings, floor plans, elevations and sections for steel joist framing and architectural rainscreen facades according to architectural and structural plans and specifications.
  • Performing material detailing and creating shop order documents.
  • Project coordination.
  • Monitor projects and report progress and status to management.
  • Document control including R.F.I. logs, submittals and contract conformance.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Have the communication skills to interact effectively with project managers, architects, engineers and other team members.
  • Ability to interact and problem solve with field personnel.

Qualifications

  • Be proficient with AutoCAD, Word and Excel
  • Must be able to accurately interpret construction documents, architectural, structural drawings and specifications.
  • Be able to work well in a team environment as well as work independently
  • Minimum 3 years in architectural/structural drafting, design and/or engineering
  • Estimating experience and/or field experience is a plus.
  • Be self-motivated, self-directed, and eager/willing to learn and grow.
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Ability to work on multiple projects of varying scope with the capability of achieving tight schedules/deadlines
